Carlos Grohmann is a professor (lecturer / assistant professor) of Geotechnologies at the Institute of Geosciences, University of São Paulo, Brazil. Has a degree in Geology (BSc, 2001), master's (MSc, 2002-2004) and PhD (2004-2008) in geotectonics from the same institution, with a cooperation fellowship at Kingston University London (2007). His work focus on the following subjects: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), digital terrain analysis, free software (FOSS), geomorphometry, remote sensing and karstic systems.
