About
MarcelIo Rubens Barsi Andreeta received his PhD in Materials Science and engineering from Universidade de São Paulo, São Carlos, Brazil (2001). His research interests include crystal growth, solid state lasers, Raman and AFM microscopy and instrumentation. Currently he develops new crystalline compounds for solid sate lasers applications using Laser Heated Pedestal Growth technique at the Crystal Growth and Ceramic Materials Group (IFSC-USP), São Carlos, SP, Brazil.
